Brooke - Ventura, CA youth photography

Remember Jake from a couple posts ago? Well, this is his sister, Brooke. She is now close to 10 years old but I took these photos of her just after her 8th birthday. I never posted them (since I started my photo blog after these) but wanted to share a few now. I've been using these photos to experiment with using textures during my post-processing. I think it's amazing how textures can really transform a photo and give it an extra umph! For future photo shoots I'll still prefer the majority of photos to be clean and crisp but every now and then I think there will be a photo screaming for texture.
