Don and Shirley's Fiesta Birthday

My brother-in-law and his mom celebrated their 40th and 60th birthdays together this year with a Fiesta themed party thrown by my sister. It was a BIG fiesta with lots of family, friends, and fun times. There was a catered taco bar, salsa tasting contest, a pinata, an AMAZING cake done by our sister Amy, check out amyscakeshop.com, margarita machine,  and a photo booth done by me. We did prints right there and party goers got to take their photos with them on their way home. Tammy threw a fantastic party that we are still taking about!

So, I'm going to toot my own horn for a second. My niece and I made that pinata. it took 4 days of old fashioned paper mache and about 15 man hours of twirling crepe paper on a pencil and glueing them on one at a time. It turned out super great! we we're sad to see it beaten to it's death but happy that it lasted long enough for all the kids to get a good whack at it! Happy Birthday Don and Shirley!!!
